By Laura Gayle, Business Woman Guide The world of the solopreneur — or freelancer, contractor, or any other solo worker who isn’t in a “traditional” employee situation — can be a rewarding one, but those who want to take the plunge have to reckon with how solitary that world is, in more ways than…
The thank you update!
As some of you may know, we’re hard at work on our huge, new Version 2 of OfficeTime. So why the heck should we keep polishing Version 1? Because it’s the right thing to do. It’s a thank you to our community that has helped us so much. We could hold back these updates…
Do you choose your business or your customer?
When faced with a choice between what’s good for the company and what’s good for the customer, what do you choose? We recently faced this. We’ve got a big, fantastic (and paid) version 2 upgrade around the corner for OfficeTime. We’d love everyone to upgrade because it saves people time and, well, it makes us money. But…
Be Like Ike and improve productivity!
He commanded armed forces in WWII, served as president of the United States, and laid out systems which lead to the launch of the Interstate Highway System, the internet and NASA….all the while finding time to golf and oil paint. Apple Watch App Not Starting?

Are you using the free version of OfficeTime on your iPhone or iPad and can’t upgrade to the full version? Do you get “Safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server” when you tap to upgrade? Fear not! Apple changed the way the links work. We’re working a…
Windows 8.1 Compatibility
Windows 8.1 seems to be disagreeing with OfficeTime. Luckily, there’s an easy fix. Go to Edit->Preferences, General and click Mute. We’re working on a priority fix to bring the sounds back. UPDATE: This seems to affect only a small number of Windows 8.1 users. You might not need to do anything.
Moving to iOS 7
OfficeTime works well on iOS 7 and the new iPhones. But, like most apps, you probably want to get the latest update. While iOS 7 will automatically update apps, you can be sure by going to the App Store and tapping Updates at bottom right. The update solves a problem transferring data from the free…
